The University of Iowa Athletics Hall of Fame and Museum, Roy G. Karro Building, is located at 2425 Prairie Meadow Drive Iowa City, IA 52246. Located at the corner of Mormon Trek Boulevard and Melrose Avenue, The University of Iowa Athletics Hall of Fame and Museum is conveniently located with easy access from either Highway 218 or Interstate 80.

No, there is no charge for admission.

The building has elevator access to all floors of the facility. There is also a wheelchair onsite to assist those who may need it.

Are guided tours offered?
The University of Iowa Athletics Hall of Fame and Museum is designed for self-guided tours. If patrons have any questions, our staff is more than happy to help.

Can I take pictures of the exhibits?
The staff here at The University of Iowa Athletics Hall of Fame and Museum is eager to help capture moments during visits to the building. Patrons are free to take pictures at their leisure, as long as flash is not used, in order to preserve the artifacts in the exhibits.

Yes! For safety purposes, patrons must be at least 16 years of age, and/or otherwise accompanied by a parent/guardian, to visit The University of Iowa Athletics Hall of Fame and Museum.

What is featured in The University of Iowa Athletics Hall of Fame and Museum?
The three story building features exhibits of all University of Iowa Athletic Programs along with a special exhibit for Nile Kinnick and his Heisman Trophy. There are also exhibits featuring The University of Iowa Hall of Fame Inductees and Scottish Highlanders. The building has a theater room and an interactive basketball court for the entertainment of patrons too.

Who decides the inductees for the Hall of Fame each year?
Members of The University of Iowa National I Club nominate and select the inductees for the Hall of Fame each year.

When are the new members for the Hall of Fame inducted?
The newly inducted members of the Hall of Fame are honored at a banquet and a brief ceremony is conducted at The University of Iowa Athletics Hall of Fame and Museum at the beginning of every football season. They also are recognized at halftime of the first home football game each season and are featured in the Hawk Talk Monthly September Issue.
