Welcome to the award winning University of Iowa Athletics Hall of Fame and Museum, Roy G. Karro Building showcases more than 100 years of Hawkeye athletic excellence through prestigious memorabilia throughout Iowa’s rich athletic history. Spanning 26,000 square feet over three floors, it includes museum exhibits, conference rooms, a movie theater, and even an interactive basketball court area constructed from the historic Iowa Field House flooring. The Roy G. Karro building is the perfect unique place to add a distinctive Hawkeye flavor to your event. Whatever the function, be it a reception, a business meeting, a party, or any event, The University of Iowa Athletics Hall of Fame and Museum can provide a change of pace and liven up your event. We invite you to take a look around and explore the four event spaces we offer, the indoor Atrium, indoor Varsity Club Room, indoor Smith Conference Room, and the outdoor Grant Event Terrace.
Interactive Room Policy
The interactive room is open to Hall of Fame guests touring the facility as well as event attendees. Using the interactive room soley as a gym, is prohibited. All guests under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. This room is for shooting purposes only,for your safety and the safety of others all game-like activities are prohibited.
Each space is available to University and community organizations for events and gatherings. Located at the corner of Mormon Trek Boulevard and Melrose Avenue, The University of Iowa Athletics Hall of Fame and Museum, Roy G. Karro Building, is conveniently located with easy access from either Highway 218 or Interstate 80.
