National silver medalist (880 yard run) at Association for Intercollegiate Athletics for Women Indoor Championships in 1982; Three time All-American – Indoor distance medley relay in 1981, 82, Indoor 880 yards in 1982 and Outdoor 800 meters in 1982; Four-time Big Ten Indoor champion – 600 meter and 3,200 meter relay in 1979, 800 meter in 1980 and 880 yards in 1982; Named Scholar Athlete of the Year at Iowa in 1982; and holds 800 meter run record of 2:05:67 set in 1982.
