Coached two Olympic gold medal basketball team members, two NCAA Final Four teams with a fourth place in 1955 and second place in 1956, two Big Ten championship teams in 1955, 56 and first Iowa team to win twenty games in 1956; overall record of 113-59 (65.7%) and conference record of 72-41 (63.7%); and golf team record of 39-30-4 with Big Ten runner-up finish and eleventh place NCAA finish in 1954.
