Field Hockey Coach 1988 – 1999
Coached Iowa to ten NCAA Tournament appearances (seven Final Fours and two runner-up finishes in 1988, 1992), seven Conference Championships, Big Ten Tournament Championship in 1994, and 39 all-americans, 67 all-conference selections, 16 members on usa national team, and six members on 1996 usa olympic team; and named seven-time Conference Coach of the Year, Five-time Midwest/West Regional Coach of the Year, and National Coach of the Year in 1992.
