The Smith Conference Room is the smaller conference room of the Hall of Fame. It includes an overhead projector as well as a large screen on the North wall that can be unveiled when use of the projector is needed. The South wall of the conference room has two access points that connect it with the Varsity Club Room. The East side of the conference room opens up into the Atrium and then onto a large variety of exhibits that any Hawkeye sports fan would love to view. This space is ideal for conferences, receptions, birthday parties, and other intimate gatherings. This space has an entrance to our kitchen and combined with the access to the Atrium and Varsity Club Room makes this space a very useful area to serve food.

All University organizations are covered under the University’s policy.
All events wishing to serve alcohol are required to have liability insurance for their event. The link below provides the contract and insurance needed. Insurance is needed in the occurrence of property damage to our facility or if someone is injured and brings a claim against the contract holder and/or The University. Each individual event is subject to require security personnel in addition to the rental pricing. Once we have reviewed the specific event in detail, a decision will be made as to if security is required or not.
There is access to the ground level entrance of the building as well as an elevator inside for access to each floor.
Parking is available free of charge in lot 71 (Hall of Fame Parking Lot).
